Welcome to Blenheim College

Blenheim College offers a personalised, academic curriculum for your children.

We create a bespoke academic curriculum for each and every child, based on their individual interests and passions. For students in our younger year groups, in Key Stage 2, for example, if they love boats, we’ll create a curriculum around boats until their interests naturally shift to another area. If they love fairy tales, we’ll create an academic programme based around fairy tales! This is a guaranteed way to ensure that your child is always excited to learn.

In later years, at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 there are academic options entirely based around each student. We are not bound by timetabling restrictions or numbers of students per class, so your child is free to select any subject that inspires them.

Our bespoke curriculum model fits in with your family and lifestyle, is flexible, has no borders and reduces, to almost zero, any potential barriers to learning.

How We Work

When you first express an interest, we’ll arrange for you to have a conversation with our Headmaster, Benedick Ashmore-Short to talk about your individual context, your way of life, what fits, and, most importantly how we can best serve your child. Mr Ashmore-Short will follow up your discussions with meetings with the academic tutors and coaches to create and design an individualised, bespoke curriculum for your child that involves every day contact with his or her coach, tutor, or both. This bespoke and constantly evolving curriculum ensures that your child’s innate potential is reached and developed, building on his or her personal loves and passions.

Why Blenheim?

At Blenheim College, your child is truly part of a school. He or she will be able to participate in group activities including (but by no means limited to) group teaching, collaborative working, debating and all activities on offer from the Council of British Internatinal Schools. This offer ensures that students of Blenheim College get much more than individual tutoring. They are truly part of a buzzing school community.

Your child will have one-to-one time with his or her academic tutor for a minimum of two and a half hours a week. Every academic tutor is a qualified specialist in their field who understands the intricacies of working with your child. In addition, every student receives to one-to-one time with a personal coach for a further two and a half hours a week. Our personal coaches are all Russell University graduates who can teach your child about so much more than academics. Together, these experts prepare your child for life after school and for doing their part in our collective human endeavour of making our world a better place.
